About Adrion
“I’m on a mission to help people in their pivotal middle years get unstuck, so they can thrive and maximize their impact on the world.“
Adrion Porter is a speaker, LinkedIn Top Voice, age inclusion advocate, and the founder of Mid-Career Mastery®, a professional growth and transformation company for organizations and their emerging and experienced leaders.
A former 20+ year marketing executive, Adrion is now on a mission to help others master and maximize their “middle years”—in today’s age when we’re now living and working longer, and the traditional career arc is no longer linear.
Adrion reinforces, Mid-Career Mastery is more than a company. It’s a “movement” to redefine and reimagine mid-career as no longer a season of stagnation, but an inflection point towards a career path of purpose, fulfillment, and reinvention—whether at 35, 45, 55, or beyond.
At the heart of Adrion and Mid-Career Mastery’s work is the Mastery Map framework, which codifies three proven pillars of transformation (Mindset, Meaning, and Milestones) to help professionals navigate and thrive in their career journey—at any age or stage.
Rooted in science and practical application, the Mastery Map equips individuals and organizations with the tools they need to overcome career challenges and maximize success in today’s new world of work.
Adrion is frequently invited to deliver interactive Mastery Map workshops and present keynotes to many world leading organizations including Fidelity Investments, TIAA, Humana, AARP, Truist, the Institute of Coaching, and others.
In addition to leading Mid-Career Mastery, Adrion is the creator and host of the Gen X Amplified podcast. The highly rated show features conversations with leaders who reflect upon their own professional narrative as Gen’Xer, while also discussing key issues affecting the powerful generation between the Boomers and Millennials.
Adrion is also the creator of the #FabulousOver40 Spotlight Series on LinkedIn, celebrating leaders who are making a meaningful impact in the during their “magical” middle years.
Previously, Adrion spent two decades leading marketing and brand development initiatives for brands such as HBO, Cartoon Network, and Citi. He has also served as the Chief Marketing Officer for a tech and media non-profit.
